Direct Answer: Timberkala (TIMBERकला) creates artisanal luxury wooden home decor items marrying heritage woodworking with organic modern design.

Our curated collections include hand-carved sacred spiritual sculptures (Ganesha, Buddha, Krishna), 3D multi-layered architectural wall art panels, handblown molten glass vessels sculpted onto natural teak root crutches, lifelike animal and bird figurines, resonant wind chimes, and contemporary organic tabletop statement centerpieces.

Direct Answer: Yes, 100% of Timberkala products are individually handcrafted from genuine reclaimed teak wood and weathered river driftwood.

We strictly never use MDF, particle boards, compressed sawdust, or plastic resin imitations. Every wooden artifact is hand-chiseled by generational master artisans, preserving authentic wood grain variations, organic root curves, natural knots, and age-old fissures that make each creation entirely unique.

Direct Answer: We specialize primarily in aged reclaimed teak wood (Tectona grandis) and salvaged riverbed driftwood roots.

Aged reclaimed teak wood is universally celebrated for its dense heartwood fiber structure, high natural silica and oil content, rich golden-brown patina, and unmatched dimensional stability that resists seasonal warping, cracking, or shrinkage across all indoor climates.

Direct Answer: Timberkala ethically salvages seasoned timber from dismantled vintage architectural havelis, century-old structural beams, and fallen riverbed roots across regional craft clusters in India.

By redirecting premium aged timber from landfills into timeless luxury art, we champion circular sustainability and support indigenous Indian woodworking artisans without contributing to deforestation.

Direct Answer: Yes, Timberkala's molten glass vessels are 100% watertight, food-grade safe, and ideal for hydroponic plants, lucky bamboo, or fresh floral displays.

Each recycled glass vessel is hand-blown and shaped directly onto its specific teak root cradle while molten hot. The cooled glass perfectly mirrors the contours of the root for a snug, secure fit. The glass bowl lifts off easily for cleaning and fresh water replacement.

Direct Answer: According to classical Vastu Shastra, placing or hanging a wooden Ganesha on the North, Northeast (Ishanya), or East wall brings prosperity, peace, and removes life obstacles.

Place the idol at eye level facing into your living room or entrance foyer. Natural teak wood aligns with the Earth and Wood elements of Vastu, harmonizing household energies. Avoid positioning sacred sculptures on South walls, beneath staircases, or adjoining washrooms.

Direct Answer: Every Timberkala wall accent features pre-installed, reinforced steel keyhole brackets or heavy-duty metal cleats tested to support up to 15 kg.

For concrete and brick walls, drill and insert standard 6mm or 8mm plastic rawl plugs (anchors) with 1.5 to 2-inch stainless steel screws, leaving 3mm of the screw head exposed to slide into the rear bracket. For drywall partitions, use metal butterfly toggle bolts for maximum stability.

Direct Answer: Wabi-Sabi decor celebrates organic asymmetry, natural weathering, and authentic imperfection, bringing grounding soul to contemporary spaces.

Modern urban apartments often feature sterile ceramic tiles, glass, and synthetic laminates. Introducing Timberkala's reclaimed root sculptures and organic wooden panels creates biophilic balance, tactile warmth, and an understated rustic luxury that never goes out of fashion.

Direct Answer: Reclaimed teak wood (Tectona grandis) is decades older than newly harvested plantation Sheesham or Mango wood, resulting in fully stabilized core moisture.

While freshly cut woods tend to crack or expand during monsoon humidity, reclaimed teak has zero movement. Furthermore, teak's inherent natural oils and silica offer superior water resistance, natural pest immunity, and a distinguished golden-amber patina that darkens gracefully over time.

Direct Answer: Yes, Timberkala wooden decor is naturally termite-resistant, borer-proof, and resilient against rot.

Aged teak wood contains natural Tectoquione and high silica resin concentrations that make it naturally unpalatable to termites and wood-boring pests. In addition, all raw timber undergoes kiln-seasoning and is hand-sealed with deep-penetrating organic bio-wax polishes for lifelong pest protection.

Direct Answer: Routine maintenance requires only gentle weekly dusting with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or soft bristle brush.

Avoid aerosol chemical sprays, alcohol wipes, or soaking the wood in water. To nourish the wood grain and restore rich sheen, apply a tiny pea-sized drop of natural beeswax polish or food-grade mineral oil once every 12 months with a lint-free cotton cloth.

Direct Answer: We exclusively use zero-VOC, food-grade organic botanical oils and natural beeswax finishes.

Unlike synthetic polyurethane or chemical lacquers that create artificial plastic coats, our hand-rubbed organic waxes penetrate deep into the teak fiber pores. This seals the timber against moisture while keeping indoor air pure, child-friendly, and pet-safe.
